Report on trip to Utah 7/21/05

The trip to Utah was wonderful above and beyond anything I expected. I played hard and had a great time doing it. Now I'm recovering from the hectic schedule and late nights. Here's a rundown of my week:

FRIDAY: arrived in Springville at 11:00 p.m.

SATURDAY: stayed at (sister) Brenda's house
visited with (my) Naylor family
family barbecue at Clarks (including (Kelly's bro & some of family) Stuart, Teresa, Taralyn & Taunalee who were visiting from Idaho Falls)


SUNDAY: church with our old (10th) ward
dinner with (bro & wife) Duaine & Rashele

MONDAY: spent all morning on the phone scheduling visits
lunch and visit with Carol Nielsen
family barbecue at Naylors

TUESDAY: visited with attorneys at office I used to work at
lunch with girls from dinner group (Lora Baugh, Paula Crandall, Alisa Hammond, Tammy Smith & Joan Norman)
spent the rest of the day in Payson with Alisa, hiked to the grotto, put a puzzle together and ate Ron's sinful hot fudge with spoons right out of the pot

WEDNESDAY: moved to Grandma Clark's to stay
visited with Nancy Nielson
visited with JaNae Wilson
traveled to Riverdale and had dinner with (my) Young family

THURSDAY: breakfast with Ruthanne Bridges
visited with Lori Wise
living room redo with (sis-in-law) Rashele
dinner with Duaine & Rashele

FRIDAY: met with Alisa to give her help with the organ (new calling!)
cut Mom Clark's hair and went with her to quilt show at Art Museum
dinner with Mom Clark
continued living room redo with Rashele

SATURDAY: lunch with Mom & Dad Naylor
shopping with Mom Naylor
barbecue at Hammond's with the Lassiter family
neighborhood party in old neighborhood
quick visit with Terri Shimmin

SUNDAY: left Springville at 6:00 a.m.

It was great to see you all! Thanks for your time, hospitality and friendship. I do hope that it won't be a whole year until we meet again. To those I missed, I hope to see you next time.
